An amplifier used in a feedback system has a nominal open-loop gain of A = 6.0e+4. In a batch of amplifiers, the variance of the open-loop gain is known to be ±35%. The feedback network used has nominal factor of β = 0.5. The variance of the feedback factor is ±2%. If we build 5000 versions of the closed-loop circuits using the imperfect amps and the imperfect feedback networks, what are the minimum and maximum values for closed-loop gains that we would expect to see?
